Daily update 3rd April 2020 – Easter holidays
It is the holidays starting today. It’s normally one of my favourite holidays as the nights get lighter and there is a promise of spring and better weather. School is open for those that need us at this strange time, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need anything. Remember there are some interesting challenge tasks to do if they fancy doing something a bit different or if they need to keep their brain from going rusty!
Year 12
You should have received your data yesterday via email. If you have any questions about it or want any support with this, please let Mrs Barber know or speak to your teachers directly through teams.
Year 11 and 13
There is still no news from Ofqual I’m afraid. I’m told there will be an announcement today. I will write to students in Years 11 and 13 and their parents when I have received and digested the information.
Quiz tonight

Thank you to Mrs Stevenson and Miss Sidney for their video messages this week. If you missed them, they can be found on our NK Academy Facebook page. I’m going to be recording another one this morning which will be on Facebook and our website later today so watch out for that.
I’ll continue writing these updates throughout the holiday as I know many of you have enjoyed reading them. Please do let us know of any fun activities that you find so we can share them with other families.
