High quality teaching will always include the revisiting of knowledge and skills to enable students to regularly review their understanding.  Students are taught how to revise from the early stages of their time at North Kesteven Academy.  Students have exams in all years to prepare them for the exams they will take at the end of Year 11.  There is a planned programme of revision techniques as part of the curriculum.

As students approach their exams in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13, there are further opportunities for support with revision and intervention in all subject areas.  These take many forms but might include lunchtime or after school sessions offered by teachers, mentoring by older students, university students or academy staff.  The academy is open for students at Easter and May half term to offer a quiet space and resources for students to be able to revise, away from distractions at home.
