Daily update 15th June 2020 – Morning everyone, I hope everyone has had an enjoyable weekend and you are well.

Phase one of wider opening

I am really excited today that we start to welcome back some of our Year 10 and Year 12 students for some face to face support in school.  This won’t be school as we have all known it but it will be a valuable opportunity for us to speak to students, for them to talk to each other and for us to support their learning in person.  If your son/daughter is returning for phase one there is a video for them to watch with information about the day, including information about safety.  This is available to them on teams.

For those students in Year 10 and 12 who are remaining at home, we are trialling something today and tomorrow and will be in touch shortly about how we will support face to face online.  Someone will be in touch by phone in the next few days to talk to you and your son/daughter about this.

Remote Learning

Many of our teachers have now started to record lessons and/or feedback to students.  This hasn’t happened with every year group or class yet but we are always learning and this is being improved and worked on every day.  Thank you for your feedback and positive messages about this last week.

Challenge Tasks

Please find attached the challenge tasks for this week.  They can also be found in the parents section of our website under NK at home.

Have a lovely week everyone.

With very best wishes,
