Daily update 18th May 2020 – Welcome to the last week of term 5.  This has been a very short but incredibly unusual and busy term.  I hope you are all keeping well.

Year 11 and 13

I’m really conscious this week that it would have been a big week of exams for our Year 11 students.  I am sure that they are thinking about this too and perhaps feeling a little odd with a mixture of relief that there isn’t an exam to sit, but also a bit apprehensive about what the current situation does mean instead.  We are still here for our Year 11 and Year 13 students and encourage them to continue with their learning, reading and personal development.  If they want to talk anything through please ask them to contact a member of staff through teams or they can phone or email.  We would be pleased to hear from them and will help in any way we can.

Challenge Tasks

The challenge tasks for this week are attached and can also be found in the parent section of the website under ‘NK at Home’.

Thank a Teacher Day

I wanted to thank you all for the support and kind messages you have sent into school.  I have passed many of these on to the staff already.  Wednesday 20th May is “Thank a Teacher Day’.  If you would like to create a card or a message to send to any of our teachers I know that they would appreciate it.  Please send anything to this email address and we will pass them on.

#CovidTeenHeroes

If your son/daughter has been doing anything exciting or creative over the weekend or if they have been supporting their community, please let us know.  These stories brighten up our day.

Take care everyone.

With very best wishes,
