Daily update 12th May 2020 – Further information became available yesterday evening for educational settings. The main information that you need to be aware of is that it states that secondary schools should offer some face to face support for Years 10 and 12 from 1st June. Whilst there is some information and guidance within the publication there are many, many questions to be answered.

You will find 2 links below. The first is an updated version about school closures and the second is a completely new publication about the partial reopening of schools from 1st June.

I am sure that you will have many questions when you read this guidance. The senior team will today be discussing the new information and guidance issued to educational settings yesterday and start to understand what that means for us. I will endeavour to set out a plan as soon as I am able to do so – please bear with me as it is important that we consider everything very carefully. Please be assured that the safety of your children, our staff and our community will sit at the very centre of our discussions and next steps.

With very best wishes,
