Daily update 11th May 2020 – I hope you had a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoyed some of the sunshine.

Yesterday’s announcement
I am sure that most of you will have watched the announcement from the Prime Minister yesterday evening. There is very little in this announcement that relates to us, within our secondary school setting. The 2 things I have taken from it in relation to our students are:

• We won’t be returning on 1st June.
• We are likely to return in some form before the summer holidays for students in Years 10 and 12.

I believe there will be further information as we go through this week and I will keep you informed if there is anything to inform you of.

PPE on the radio today!
Mr Smith was interviewed by Radio Lincolnshire about the work the team have been doing and we are told that this will air today on their news bulletins. There have now been 2200 pieces of PPE go out to the health and care sectors – well done team.

Challenge Tasks
The challenge tasks for this week are attached and can also be found in the parent section of our website under NK at Home.

As we absorb the message from the Prime Minister and further details of the ‘roadmap’ are released I will keep you all updated on how this affects you and your child. We are still here for you so please do contact us if you need us.

With very best wishes,

Jo Tunnicliffe
