Daily update 28th April 2020 – Home Learning
The tweaked version of home learning began yesterday. We have had lots of positive feedback from parents about this so far. If you have any comments or questions about this, please let us know by replying to these updates. We are listening to your feedback and that of the students all of the time in order to make small, but important improvements to our current systems in these strange times.

Year 12 London trip
Due to the unprecedented circumstances we have had to take the decision to cancel the Year 12 London trip this year. Please bear with us whilst we organise any refunds.

PPE and fundraising
If all goes well today (and there is no reason why it shouldn’t!) the number of visors made will exceed 1000 today. These have been dispatched as they have been ready to lots of different organisations in the healthcare and care sectors desperately in need of this equipment. So far they have gone out to Lincoln County Hospital in the Medical Emergency Admissions Unit and into the Intensive Care Unit, Tanglewood Care Home amongst others. We continue to receive requests for this equipment and it is clear that the demand is high and the work that our volunteers are doing is hugely valuable and appreciated by those in our community.

We are going to re-open our gofundme page today so that we can continue to purchase the supplies we need for our team to continue with this work. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously when we first opened this page. Anyone else who is able to support this – it will be tremendously appreciated.

Take care everyone.

With very best wishes,
