Daily update 20th July 2020 – I hope you are all well and enjoyed your weekend.  We are on the penultimate day of what has been a very long term before the summer holidays.

Thank you to all of those students in Years 10 and 12 who came into school for face to face support.  The students did really well in school and benefitted from seeing their teachers and other students.  Their adaptation to the set up of classrooms and the ways of working was a credit to them and their maturity throughout this period has been evident.

To all of the students who have been working at home, I thank you too.  I am proud of everyone who has persevered through what has been a challenging time.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

The last 2 days of term

All students will be set work on Teams for the next two days.  The only students that will be in school will be the vulnerable and keyworker bubble this week.

Virtual Celebration Assemblies

Today each year group will have a celebration assembly on the year group team at the following times:

Year 7  – 9:30 -10:15

Year 8  – 10:15 – 11:00

Year 9 –  11:00 – 11:45

Year 10  – 11:45 – 12:30

Year 12 – 12:00 – 12:30

We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements, in and out of school, of our students during the academic year and particularly during lockdown.

September

If you haven’t done so already, please read through the information and risk assessment that was sent out last week about September.  You can still send questions through to this email address about September.

Take care everyone.
