Daily update 16th April 2020 – Fundraising:
We have reached our target! Thank you for your support in raising over £1000 for equipment to make PPE. Production started yesterday and the first batch has been sent. The materials have been ordered from the monies raised for production to continue next week. Thanks go to Mr Smith and Ms Bensaih for leading this campaign.

Quiz:
The quiz last Friday was played by 56 families. Well done to the Hayward family who won, they have received their prize of an Amazon e-voucher. This Friday’s quiz code is 107971. The link once again is https://myquiz.org/
If you have any questions or would like to suggest a themed round then please email helen.gordon26@outlook.com. The winner of the quiz each week can contact Helen on this email to receive their prize.
Thank you to everyone who is taking part, I hope it is bringing some entertainment to your week.

Term resumes next week:
Monday 20th April will see term resume. There will be a government announcement later today about the lockdown, which everyone is expecting to see extended for a few more weeks at least. We are not anticipating that school will reopen for all students yet. We will remain open for those vulnerable children and the children of keyworkers. The routines put in place at the beginning of the school closure will resume on Monday, with children in all year groups learning at home and having access to the work and their teachers through Microsoft Teams. I will send a reminder tomorrow and Monday in my update of what we suggest those routines look like.

We hope that everyone continues to stay well and safe.

With very best wishes,
