Over 66% of all students achieved five A*-C GCSE passes or their equivalent in the new grading system.
English remains a huge strength at NK and, once again, students have performed well above national averages. Students achieved exceptionally well – 78% of grades awarded were between 9 and 4 (A* to C). A whopping 60% of all students achieved a grade between 9 and 5 – the new ‘strong’ pass or higher in English. The expertise, commitment and innovation from the teachers at NK has secured great outcomes for our students!
Maths performance also remained very strong with 70% of grades awarded being between 9 and 4 (A* to C).
Neil Wilkinson-McKie, Headteacher, said; “We are extremely proud of our students and their performance this year. NK has worked very hard to focus the students on precisely what they needed to do to gain the higher grades and they have done it. Since January we have introduced new innovations in how we work incisively to support individual student achievement and it is already paying off for our community. The students are amazing and we are all so proud of them.”

With so many new innovations going on at NK to ensure that our students achieve, it is all so exciting! It doesn’t matter what our students want to do – we will do everything to help.
