Think Christmas

North Kesteven Academy really is getting festive now, and on Tues 12th December the staff and students of the academy held the annual Christmas Carol Concert.  This highly successful event was extremely well received by all who attended, and the mince pies went down as well as the singing!

The beautiful playing of the Joint Strings prepared the audience for the start of the event and staff and students from each of the six colleges presented traditional and contemporary readings.  The BTEC students and the singers from the NKHamony group gave memorable performances and the band and strings led the audience in the singing of traditional Christmas carols.

Special congratulations go to the Year Seven students of Tennyson College who, despite only having been part of our school community since September, volunteered to take part in the Christingle Procession and sang beautifully in front of a warm and appreciative audience.  Well done to all the students, and thank you to all those who attended.
