Students are required to be in school for the entire school day. Non-contact periods will appear on the students timetable and these periods should be spent in the Common Room or Study Centre. Sixth Form students are granted additional freedom by being permitted to go off site during break and lunch.

There is a small fund of money made available to the academy to help support students who may struggle financially. Only students who satisfy certain criteria will be eligible to access the fund. The criteria will be specified in the 16-19 Bursary Statement and will be updated for September 2019 before the end of this academic year.
Students clothing and footwear must be appropriate for a school environment and their course. All clothing must maintain modesty and not display any offensive labelling. Skirts, dresses and shorts will be of knee length (shorts are only permitted during the summer term). Ripped clothing is not permitted. Sports wear (tracksuits, jogging bottoms, etc.) are only permitted if a requirement for the course and should only be worn for that lesson.
All students will be issued with an ID card and a lanyard. These must be worn around the neck and visible at all
North Kesteven Academy is a no smoking site.. This rule applies to all forms of smoking paraphernalia including e-cigarettes, etc. Students may not smoke on any part of the site or in the local vicinity of the Academy.
